Clipper 10 to represent Nova Scotia

The Canadian province of Nova Scotia will be the sponsor of Clipper 10. The fleet will be calling in at Halifax, NS as part of Leg 7, it will be the final stop before the race across the Atlantic back to Liverpool, arriving in July 2008.

All that remains now is for the sponsor of Clipper 06 to be announced, which will be in the next few weeks, before race start on 16th September, plus confirmation of which port will be our stopover on the West Coast of North America.

Somebody stop me! This weekend has been hard on the old credit card, with spending most of my time working on a couple of websites, being on line has meant that the temptation to buy things for my trip has been too great! So what have I been buying ... A small purchase to start off with, a South African flag to wave as Durban 2010 depart for the start of the Clipper race from Liverpool on Sunday 16th September. Purchased from Mr Flag for the bargain price of £7 (inc postage)! A slightly more expensive purchase next, after weeks of checking websites...
